Can I try your maf in my car briefly?
Earlier this week, check engine light, code 102, low voltage to mass air flow sensor. I'd delete it and it would come back.
Car ran like *****, idle was all over the place and would eventually stall.
I found an OLD maf in my tool box, popped it in, now it idles fine, check engine light on all the time, code 102 again, I can't even clear the code.
This old maf has been tossed around in my tool box for years.... and was a survivor of nitrous back fires. I don't have much confidence in it.... but this one allows the bird to idle nicely.
Before I spend money and buy a new one.... I'd like to try a "good" one in my bird. If that fixes it I will be very happy!.
If it does not..... and it is in the wiring.... something I NEVER touched... I'll be pissed.
So.... any help? If the bird acts up during the week.... I may have to bring my back up car..... btw, it's SEXY!
