im in north carolina (usmc), i got it for $2500. im not worried about motivating the L03. Im goin to be restoring it until i get the money for an LS(1,6, or if im lucky 7) and a T56. right now she runs nice and smooth, but its my first time owning a manual car so thats prolly goin to change. This is the beginning of the IROC-Z06.

Jesus christ you piss me off. I thought he had some secret or tip or something. You wonder why everyone makes fun of you and send me IM's saying that I'm next when I've never once jumped someone like that. Thats why, not because you change your mind! I've read everything on TGO up and down. Done the ultimate TBI mods done the exhaust done the open element. There nothing left to touch that doesnt require tuning so shut up I though he had something else.
BTW does anyone else feel theres nothing wrong with reconfirming what we've read... I dont feel comfortable dropping money based on what an article written 3 years ago says. I'd rather have someone that knows my specific question going yeah yeah thats right, now change that, no thats outdated do this or yeah that works great or no that articles a load of bs.

free/cheap mods: base timing, "ported" tb, diy-afpr, open element air filter
cost mods: full exhaust including !cat, mild convertor(think 2600-2800), stock LT1 cam, shift kit, posi and gears(3.73's will work, 4.10's are ideal)
one of the biggest things to take care of is tuning. there are a few people here that can help you or you can call pcm4less or some similar company for tuning.
