WTB: MINT power steering rack...

I am seeing if i can find a mint power steering rack for my 2001 SS. i dont know what years had any differences or such. id prefer soemthing out of a 2001/2002 ss, z28 or ws6. i bought one..but i dunno how good it would be and id rather not use it and have issues down the line. let me know if you have something.

i got one on ebay a year or two back.... just be sure its out of an LS1 car and not a v6 car cause they are different ratios

i one i got is "said" to be from a 2001 z28, but i have no proof. thats why i'm questioning it. I'd like to use my stock one, but it would need to be repaired. the cast aluinum for the one mount shattered, and even if fixed i dont know how safe it'd be...

i have one out of my boss' wrecked 2000 SLP SS....garaged kept car with 11,850 miles on it......the rack is at my shop with the tie rods still attached.....let me know if you still have interest

i also have the intermediate shaft/rag joint which is mint just in case you had a need for that piece too

how much does he want for the rack? and if i recall correctly, there was damage to one corner of the front so in almost all cases the at leats one tie rod is junk, but i'm still very interested, and my intermediate shaft is fine. When my ls1 blew, the explosion went down and shattered the mount for my rack.

actually the tie rods are totally fine . i was going to put it in my 93 z but for whatever reason, i believe his steering wheel shaft wasnt long enough and didnt allow the rag joint to line up - i dunno - none-the less i believe the price was about $60.00 for it.....should be negotiable but he does just want to sell it...let me know

ok, thats fine i'll take it, and if for any reason, worse comes to worse i can use my old tierods even. Or fully rebuild it with my internals since only my main housing is damaged. when is a good time for me to swing by there?
