Good news first, I ran my best time ever yesterday morning at atco.. 7.789 @ 170 mph, 1.088 60'.

But that's about where the good news started and ended. Typically my reaction times don't move much worse than a .00x throughout a weekend, maybe a few teens thrown in there somewhere, and the car won't move more than 2 hundredths over the course of an entire weekend. Well, I was ALL over the tree, from -.011 to some .060 light, and I have no idea why.. We're gonna go over the entire chassis of the car and look for a cracked upright, because I honestly don't think its me moving, I can tell when I'm late by a hundredth, there's no reason i should be struggling and cutting those lights. I went out 1st round friday, 3rd round in the first race and 2nd in the 2nd race on Saturday and they rained out today.. total entry fees $710, total winnings, 100 measly bucks.. that was my most expensive weekend ever so far.. :?

To add to the excitement, my trailer generator wouldnt work when we got there, so we had to run off the motorhome the whole time, which is propane and more expensive than gas.. the tailpipe fell off the motorhome generator, and there's something wrong with my dogs knee that has pins in it.. she'll walk find and then all of a sudden yelp and start limping, then go back to being fine..

I did get some incredible pancakes last night though... thanks jimmy :D

Congrats on the new best!

Sorry for the bad weekend though.

Your 1/4 mile time in your dragster is almost as fast as my 1/8 mile times spraying nitrous..... good lord!!!!!

What is it like pulling a 1.0 60 ft??

she's been a problem child all her life, but luckily this wasnt as bad as we expected. Apparently the bone grew back as it was supposed to and pushed the pin out so it was poking her once in a while. The vet gave her local anasthesia today and just pulled it out, now she's a very very happy 9 year old puppy. He said it happens often, sometimes the pins can stay in, other times they push out.

And thanks guys on the congrats. the 1.088 60' was awesome, but honestly, strapped in there like that, its hard to tell the difference between 7.90s and a high 7.70... and there's always been a rumor/joke that atcos 60' is really only 55  because EVERYONE always has their best 60's there. I'm typically 1.11 at island, 3 hundredths is a LOT to pick up.
