Well... it all started earlier this afternoon. I was bored so i decided to take my 2003 kawasaki ninja zx636R out for a spin. It had turned out to be a really nice day and the temperature was perfect for riding, even 95% of the roads were completely dry... So anyways, i roll into a large parking lot in my town, if you know closter, its the one with the movie theater, stop and shop, and dollar tree. So i just cruise by all the storefronts minding my own business. I get to a small intersection between the Stop &Shop and K Mart parking lots. Keep in mind, i do not have a stop sign, the alley to my right(between the stores is 2 way, but the isle to my left is only one way out towards the road( this is the turn i wanted to make) So as i approach my turn, i see a cadillac deville, say 2002-2005 driving through the kmart lot towards my direction. I could have gone ahead of him, but i decided to be nice and wait, meanwhile trying not to have to put my foot down just yet. No problem yet, but as the caddy enters this small "intersection" to pass me, the driver slows and practically stops in the middle block my turn completely. And there were no cars or pedestrians around. With my helmet on and reving my bike slightly, i yell.. "Come On. Move!" with that he pulled up enough so i could go behind him and make my turn. As i'm heading down the isle to the main road. i look in my mirror and i see him reversing and then coming at me. I get to the road and out of the corner of my eye i see the caddy right to my left at the exit. I want nothign to do with him so i pull out quick on get on it just a bit, but that did me no real good. With my luck, the light ahead happened to be red and 2 cars stopped. But as i was going towards the traffic light, this is a 4 lane rd, 2 in each direction, i'm in the right lane and he FLYS by me in the left. I come up to the car at the light almost and he cuts intop my lane blocking me completely and he stops, rolls down the window and starts yelling.... "what did you say!! did you tell me to move!! how dare you!!! I'll smash you!!" At this point im more in shock that this guy, probably late 50's or early 60's, and dressed in a suit is this worked up about me telling him to "move". Being nice at first, i put my hands up and try to motion him to calm down, and i explain, he was in my path of the turn, there was no reason for him to stop. He didnt even listen to me, and kept yelling. So i decided nice wasnt the answer. He again threatened to get out of his car to "smash my head" and asks me "how would you like that?" so i replied with.." i could use the money". that set him off even more. "Dont be a smart ass, how dare you" blah blah blah. As he finally decided to pull away and turn at the light. he gave me one last look and yells "Fag", then he was gone. I sat there in awe, honestly laughing and shaking my head. It was classic. I then start heading home, but being the devious bastard I am, i cant let this go. I tunr back and go back downtown to the parkign lot where i believed he was heading. Sure enough i find that dahm caddy deville. I got a look at the plate and took off, right to the police station, which just happens to be at that one traffic light. I go in and explain what happened, keep in mind this is my hometown, all the cops know who I am, they know i'm not a trouble maker so they dont ever give me a hard time for stupid stuff. But most of all they know i'm a good guy. the cop asks me what i want to do, i said i want to file a complaint and have him get some type of consequnce. If he had hit my bike, he seriously could ahve hurt me. (fellow bikers will agree most people dont respect motorcycles at all...its dangerous for us) Anyways, So I write up everything that happened and hand it back to the cop, he reads it over and runs the plate and sure enough it matches my description of the guy. Now the cop tells me he sees 2 clear things I can do. First is that the guy can be charged with careless driving for his actions, and itd be a civilian signed ticket, OR since he did techincally threaten me, thats a criminal charge he could face. I laughed when the cop said that. The driver must have been 5'6"-5'8" and 150lbs... and i'm 5'10 190, in a riding leather jacket(pads), helmet, protective riding glaves and timberlands, I told the cop i was never fearful of my safety at any point from his threats. So we decided to file a careless driving charge against him, and i got to sign it as the witness, it felt sooooo good. the cop them explaind what the charge meant and i said "yeah i know, i got one in town back when i was 17" lol. SO, a judge will read my statement over and then the ticket will be sent. IF the guy pleads not guilty, i'll have to go to court to tell my story again and ID the guy in court, which is easy. so thats my little story of the day...the moral is...watch out who you piss off OR who you yell at, road rage is a bitch.... /long winded story

Ha benies from up north(sorry northerners) used come down here and think they own the place in the summer. I used to get on fights all the time on my bike (as in bike you peddle). A few times last summer it actually got to the point where they were driving as slow as I was riding and we were having a pissing match because they thought I crossed the road too close to them or some stupid **** they were wrong about. Long story(ies) short people are nuts and on more than one occasion I've told people to go ahead and hit me and we'll see who is the dumb **** when I'm living in their house.

People are stupid and you definatly did the right thing. I probably would have intaganized the guy more, and from the start.

haha i got into a fight with skinny guy on the back of a harley and a huge fat guy driving it last night. they went to pass me while i was stopped at a red light by ridin up the center on the double yellow and they had to stop kinda next to me cuz other cars came the other way. so it turns green and i start to move and then he put his arm out for me to stop so i laid on the horn and skinny guy flips me off so at the next red light i pulled up next to him and said, "yea thats real safe driving on a bike" and he called me a fag? lol

he only reversed after i had made the turn.
when he got out of my way finally, he had passed the exit isle/alley and was into the stop and shop parking lot, he reversed like back into k mart lot, the went forward and made the turn that i just had and then came flying up next to me.

if he had reversed while i was behind him, then i would have been on his car kicking his windows in... that reminds me, i have a video tape of me doing that from years bakc on some car haha(not mine lol)

well i got my copy of the ticket in the mail yesterday with a little note just sayign when the court date would be and to show up then, cuz most likely he'll plead not guilty, and it said if he changes the date or anything else they will let me know by phone. im so excited to see that bastard in court. I was even telling the cop, if i acted like that i wouldnt get away with it(and i shouldnt) so theres no reason this 67 year old man should be able to, haha yes, hes 67, i have his address and birthdate etc on the copy of the ticket.
