You can order it online from their website www.zainostore.com and I think you can get it from Shore Motorsports on Rt 9.

Well for you I understand, its 2 hour trip to Howell if you want the stuff, Edison is quick ride and the shipping method would be a PITA being that close to the source.
If it is a Macco paint job just put wax on it.

no i meant for him... i go to school at rutgers and i have a buddy in howell and it usually takes me 45mins to get down there. but i agree with you, regular wax works just fine, especially for that paint. i use turtle wax on my car and i love it. maybe im just ignorant though

If you have a nice car and done right it looks great. $$$$ its about 100 or more for the stuff to begin with and it takes a few coats to see a mirror like finish.
I use it, I will say there are products that make my car look better in the short term, but nothing last as long as Zaino.
matt your car dosent need it, and for best results you layer coats, as in not letting it sit in the driveway and getting rained on

Matt is 15 though, so he can't drive there. And I know if I had ever asked my parents to drive me 45 minutes one way for some special wax, I'd have been told to walk to the local auto store and buy the cheap stuff. Not that I ever needed wax when I was 15, but you get my point.

Nothing works as good as Zaino after you get several layers built on top of each other. I used it on my 93 Indy Pace Car which was my daily driver. I had 74K miles on the car when I sold it and it still looked pretty darn good.

I was going to use nxt wax then use klear kote products :
http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/auto-detailing-appearance/374787-some-new-detailing-products.html
but theese photos just sealed the deal on my wax
I have countless coats on the car. I have been using zaino exclusively for almost 3 years. Sorry no before pics, but the paint was always in good shape. Before I liked to use meguiar's.
The best part to me is all the zaino products work together to enhance shine and protection. With zaino you can't wax too often. I mean if you enjoy waxing your car zaino is the best. Every time you use it your paint will look better and better and the protection will just keep building. As a testament to the amazing protection zaino has to offer 75% of the paint on the car is factory original. The only parts that have been repainted are the hood and front end. So it is pretty impressive to me that the factory van nuys paint can shine this well after 14 years.

I LOVEEEEEEEE WAZING MY CAR I do it 99% of the times I wash my car, the other 1% i quick detail it after
why do you people insist on having the same disscussion about zaino every month or so? how about you just learn how to properly detail a car and you wont need to spend 100+ bucks on overpriced product. Like i said before ill put 50 bucks that say ill detail my car with any wax i have in my house and it will still come out better... zaino is overpirced and is not special. but you you feel the need to waste your money - go ahead.

i've detailed more cars in year in a half then you'll prolly will in your life. people actually paid us 200 bucks to make them "look like new" again  but that was before i switched to the dealership and started halfassing my work
1. zaino is NOT wax, if your gonna buy somthing at least know what it is.
2. your car does NOT need zaino
3. you WILL NOT get best results out of zaino because as multiple people said you need to let it sit on the car almost overnight and since your car is outside its not feasable.
4. you dont know how to detail cars yet so dont argue with tsar

my car is about to go inside, as soon as I can get enough people to push her.
i do know how to detail, just not the best.
I would post my process but its too long.
abridged
vacume enterior, baby oil on dash.
wash wheels tires, rince them down, spray car, top to bottom soap up once wash, soap up again wash, dry everything(door jambs) then wax or quick detail, windows and finally tire shine missing one or two things

i disagree with you young man! zaino is worth every dollar it cost.everything you need cost about 100 bucks. it is an lot of work but when done properly it blows any wax job away. you just have to be willing to spend 6-7 hrs on your car or you can use that cheap wax and be done in an hour.1 coat will protect your car if not garaged for 6 months my neighbor has a dark blue metallic that has 4 coats on it so far and the car is unbelievable the metallic stands out so much and the car looks wet cause its so protected.
but this is just my opinion i believe in zaino cause i've seen how it works
instead of spending 100 on zaino, spend 30 on a mothers setup and 70 on hooked on phonics

I don't know why you guys get so worked up over which car wax or polish somebody wants to use. If someone wants to use Zaino, then great. If you like Turtle Wax, great. But you will not get as good results with most off the shelf waxes as you will with something like Zaino or some of the other high end polishes. Keep using your off the shelf wax and then one day when you start removing the paint you'll realize you already removed the clear coat. Most of you guys are too young to have even tried most of the products out there so you really don't have anything to base your opinion on. Relax, and let people use whatever polish or wax they want to.

good points, RA will remove almost anything on paint. A body shop guy told me though with wax products you will get "fisheyes" on the paint. With the Zaino it was clear clean paint.
I can make my car look great with almost any good polish, the true work is preping the car. ie: claying, prep the surface and done right. Only problem is any other product I need to repeat most of the steps in 2 weeks, with Zaino 3-4 coats will last a year and still bead. (not a wax)
Now if you want a true wax, Xzymol has a wax that cost $$$$$$$ and you put it on by hand.

and people like you keep saying that just because im 20 i dont know what im talking about  Name a car (besides and exotic) and i've washed it inside and out, clay barred it, buffed it, polished it, and waxed it. You can even go ahead and add a few RV's to that and a few bikes. Yes i dunno what i'm talking about eventho i've spent like 2 years doing it, and quite honestly probably have detailed MORE cars (old and new) then you. But like i said you're always welcome to prove me wrong with YOUR work.
ohh and little edit*** its also about what u use while you apply the wax, wash and dry your car, **** i still see people using towels  and then they go "OMG swirl marks/scratch" or how about washing your wheels with a rag and then washing the rest of your car with it? idiots...

this is 15 minutes of quick Maguires Detail Spray. Only time I ever thoroughly detailed this car was when I first bought it. Since then, Ive powerwashed it, and only used spray-on carnuba wax, that new soap-spray stuff (bucketless car wash), and quick detail spray. Most Ive ever spent cleaning my car was prolly 45 minutes tops, thats including polishing the wheels too.

Its a very good product, like I said I can make the car look better with other products, just don't care to spend time going over this car. Last full treatment on the 10th 09/05
The reflection picture, 8/06 you tell me Dawn, canuba spray wax will look like that after a year and 30 car washes (not home ones)
But nothing can touch the lasting power of Zaino.. Reports prove it and I've known Sal for a few years now.

1. dawn is used to strip away wax, has nothing to do with shine
2. you're probably right, my 6 or so dollar wax wont last as long as your zaino that was almost 20 times more.
3. Last time i waxed my car was mid april i think, before i got fired from the dealer. after that i've been using my garden hose and a few good towels and just cleaned my wheels.

It's not actually a pissing contest until Tsar gets involved. Apparently, he can't keep his opinions out of anything. Maybe we should set up a separate forum just for Tsar's opinions! Geez dude, get a life! You do this every time! And taking pictures of your green car with a green background does nothing to show the car. Nice dealer trick. Let people use whatever wax, oil, gas, tires, wipers they want to. We're all getting tired of your arguing in every thread.

Yeah there are people who swear by it, and they have a right to, its a good product from what i can tell. Theres people who want the best, and dont care how much it costs, and theirs cheap ass's like you who would go to the 99 cent store for wax..
come up with new material? wtf

tsar your goin way overboard with the commentswell i came here, and said zaino was crap, which is my and many other peoples opinions. then we started the whole "you're too young too know anything" thing going. im just going by what the article says man:
Paul Dalton, who was interviewed by the U.K.’s Daily Record newspaper, says he spends over 64 hours on each car for what he calls the “Pinnacle Wash” treatment. The wash includes the use of a special Brazilian wax called Zymol Royale, which sells for over $7,000 for a 50oz bottle. Dalton claims the wax finishes last a full year.

So where is your proof that Zaino is crap? You seem to have a Zaino complex and snap every time somebody asks a question about it. I couldn't care less what brand wax/polish people use. I just used a bottle of 25 year old Turtle Wax on my truck 2 weeks ago. It was my grandfathers! The price sticker was $1.79 and the bottle was made of glass! I'm not about to waste decent wax/polish on my 18 year old truck with faded paint and no factory clear coat. And Rich's car looks great with the product he uses so why argue about it? We all have our favorite products and that's all that needs to be said.

and if you left it at that then we all would've been fine, instead you went and said that i dont know jack **** cuz im 20 year old jackass who hasnt tryed all the waxes out there....
why i say zaino is crap? because i havent seen a picture or seen a car in person that would justify spending 100+ on polish kit. pretty simple if you ask me.
Rich189
10-10-2006, 09:14 AM
well basically glaze fill in small swirls and give the "wet" look by filling your paint with beneficial oils ect basically correct steps to fully detail a car remove swirls ect is....
wash
clay
polish (using least abrasive first then more abrasive in problem areas)
glaze
wax or paint sealent (wax gives more depth to the glaze sealent just protects the paint and lasts longer then wax)
anyway i think u can find more info at properautocare.com they normally have some pretty cool detailing tips and info... so yea the pic u posted is glaze and the article shows the wrong pic and i know ur just goin by what u read
"well now you know and knowing is half the battle"
*edit* and i checked out the dudes 11.500 dollar car detail website go look at some of the pics the shine on some of the cars isnt as good as mine much less some of the other cars i've seen so imo those products are just a way for rich guys to waste some money.... so if anyones got money to burn ill give you the same or better detail for 2500 = less then 25% the price of some british prick doing it

that right there would justify spending 100 on a KIT on zaino.com or what ever they sell indivigual products for about the same price as regular polish. so once again your wrong.
ive said it once and ill say it again, your car isnt nice or glossy ive seen it in pictures and in person...
that cardomain pic car is an ugly ass color IMO, i think his time and money w/zaino should have been put towards a color change haha
and Tsar, is it bad that i really want to buy the $7k "glaze"? lol free refills would rock, i'd do everyones car for like $100, same price as zaino, BUT better...so after doing 70 cars, like a car a week for a little over a year...it'd be paid off... lmao
wayfast, dog**** > your opinion. i dont care what u think about my car. and now go ask him how much he spent on that paint job.

Man, did this thread go to ****. Name calling and judgement based on opinions.
Hey, how about we do it like every other forum and have other threads like this one, about:
1.) Oil and filters
2.) Tires
3.) Shocks
4.) Brake upgrades
Everybody has their own way with this stuff. There are multiple ways to skin a cat.
I've used Zaino and it works well. With proper application a car can look stunningly good. However, it's got such a huge following that people lose sight of the fact that other things can work equally as well if not better.

As long as you keep the surface lubed(soapy water) and wipe it off right away and re-wash the car when your done it will be fine.
Light pressure on the clay, if it does not move easy, spray more soapy water.
If the paint is in good condition, you should be able to glide your hand over the paint and will feel smooth.
If you garage the car do it once a year, if its exposed to the elements 2-3 times a year.

so basically i have to keep the surface wet in order to keep from messing anything up? doesnt sound too hard. thanks :)

why do you people insist on having the same disscussion about zaino every month or so? how about you just learn how to properly detail a car and you wont need to spend 100+ bucks on overpriced product. Like i said before ill put 50 bucks that say ill detail my car with any wax i have in my house and it will still come out better... zaino is overpirced and is not special. but you you feel the need to waste your money - go ahead.
I doubt it, one last picture. My WS6 has won more trophies and was in a few Magazines, even Sal Zaino said it was one of the best Black cars he has seen.
