Anyone been to the NJ state auctions (http://www.state.nj.us/treasury/dss/csdssauc.htm) in Trenton lately? I noticed they have 10 1999 Crown Vics up this month that run on compressed natural gas. I was just wondering if anyone knew what kind of prices these cars would fetch at auction since there are apparently no public filling stations in the state of NJ for CNG cars. Cause for the right price, I think I would consider converting one back to gasoline for a nice DD project.

i thought these cars could run on either one? i saw a NYS Cavalier on ebay that could run on either of the two

It states on the list (http://www.state.nj.us/treasury/dss/auction/21_october_06_brochure.pdf) that these are CNG only, not dual.

lol i do see some "duel fuel" cavi's and contours but ur rite the vics are cng only

CNG is not available to the general public. ask me how i know... :(
