Im a lefty, I bought 3 wooden sticks on clearence, for ten bucks a pop thinking if I can use them for practice they would be good.. I cracked the **** out of one allready, how do I determine what the flex should be on the stick? I dont like it to be straight like one stick i have, and I dont like it to be real curved like the sticks I got on clearence..how do i determine the flex on an old stick I have that isnt long enough? cause its PERFECT for me..
flex has nothing to do with the curve of the blade......flex is the flexibility of the shaft.
if you have good puck control and prefer the snap shot and wrist shot, use a more flexable stick, if you are a putz and just like hard slapshots get one a little stiffer, as for the curve of the blade, keep buying different ones untill you find one you like generally the more curve the easier it will be to control the shot and get some lift on the puck

ok, Im deffinatly a wrist shooter. I think the curve on my old stick is perfect for me, Im not buying a 90 buck stick on line just for a free bag.. Ill go to this shop, where there giving us a 10 percent discount and bring my old stick with me.. so if any one needs hockey equipment, just tell me and we can go there and ill bring my student id..
