Any BF2 or Vietnam players here?

Im getting a new computer tommorow, and I was thinking of picking up BattleField 2 the following day and wanted to see if anyone else plays and maybe we could set up a game online or something? I already own BF Vietnam so Id play that too anytime.

Cant, its punkbuster enabled. Which means, u need a CD in the rom drive, and there cant be two alike CD Keys on at the same time.

Nopers. The CD Key is imbedded into the CD, which is why it would be kinda hard. Most new games are like that. But I think you can shell out $20 for it at walmart :-D

BTW Alex, what computer did you get? Most likely ur gonna have to buy a seperate video card if u want better graphics instead of an integrated gfx controller. Trust me, theres a 50% chance the game will run like ****.

Usually games last at $50 for around 6-8 months after release. Then the drop down to $40, then $30 in a few months time, then it drops down to $20 after a year and a cpl months. This is only for SOME games... i think Doom3 is still going for $50 and its been around 2 1/2 years since its release :lol:

My parents got me a Dell Dimension E521 with the NVIDIA GeForce card in it. Its pretty maxed out, but its just for a good all around PC for what I use it them for. I forgot all the specifics. Its supposed to arrive tommorow.

i played both when my cousin from Poland is here...him and me as a team > all...but i play Ghost Recon more cause i love to be a sniper and it's a lot more fun in Ghost Recon :-)

Nahhh I dont have the SF upgrade yet. But i think even with the SF pack, you can switch out of it and go to regular BF2. If you decide to do multi-player, look for a server called "Digital-Annarchy" or something, it holds 64 players, thats where I can be found owning house :-)

Noah lets play! Someone from another board recommended XFire, its like an AIM for gaming, and we can find eachother whenever one of us is online and gaming and instantly join that server. Im Arock301 online.

If anyone goes on Ive been playing on a Co-Op Server Pure Brutality. I love the co-op plus you get the global upgrades so its an easy way to rack up the medals!

Yea but you play on an unranked server... against bots .... i think the medals and ribbons are fine, but any global points you get dont do anything to your ranked score, at least I dont think. Cuz I was about 10 points away from going from Seargant to Staff Seargant and when I racked up those 55 points that one round, I got a "Private First Class" lmao . Didnt harm my ranked score tho, which sits at 5500 i think :-D
