heads arent '89... they appear to be perimeter style valve covers, so thats pre-87... hmmm what else doesnt match up, who knows, lol

They could also just have the conversions on them, as nice centerbolt valve covers are expensive.

yes, i am a firm believer that what you have done do your t/a is much much more acceptable than whats been done to that one... ;)
