Gotta love the difference in campaing funds. Rush Holt has over $1.25 million for his campaign and his challenger hasn't reached the $5,000 mark yet. That sure looks like a fair race. We need some sort of law that limits the amount each candidate can spend and then it's up to them if they want to raise that amount. I wonder - if we paid politicians the same amount we paid teachers, would we get better quality politicians?

I kinda agree with you Jeff about the limited campaign funding for all who are running. That way the decision to vote would come down to the politicians actually viewpoints, not the number of signs spread all over the state. Wow, imagine that!

Of course, the American public has to meet them halfway and actually give a damn about what these politicians are saying.
