View Full Version : Who else besides me is impressed with the style of this new message board?

I really like it. It's comparable to the really good ones out there like ls1tech.com and ls1gto.com. And I think it's even better than ls1.com. I like the fact that I was able to simply copy and paste my signature from another message board (no dumb 500 character limit like ls1.com). The color combo of white and blue is pleasing to the eye. And I can post polls (unlike in ls1gto.com). So, so far so good. Thanks to the administrators for this great service.

what i think would be cool, dont know if its an option though, is for a user to beable to change the colors of the board to their preference... this board is the same color as nastyz28, and sometimes if im not paying attention ill confuse myself. i dont know if theres a fix for that though ;)

i know on some boards it allows the user to select their own skin, but that would require more then one skin to be installed :)

The color scheme and overall look of the site will soon be undergoing a facelift. Nothing major, just a little freshening up.
I'm glad that most are happy with the way things are done around here :)
Wayfast: not sure why you would have received an error like that - the file is there and seems to be displaying fine for everyone else. Was this a one-time problem, or do you get it every time you click on the vBGarage link? (ps - quit using IE....it sucks)

Looks like the Internal Server Error message isn't coming up as much, that's defninetly cool.

Correct. Altho, Im not quite sure if I seen it on "vBulletin" forums yet. I think it came standard on "Invision" forums tho. IIRC, NJFBOA was a phpBB forum before the vbulletin move, right?

that would be correct sir. we ditched the phpBB software about 14months ago. vbulletin has much better support and a lot more hacks/mods available.

Ya, id say 80% of the time, people switch their forums from phpBB to Invision to vBulletin. You just happened to skip over the Invision which I think is an awesome forum style as well. vBulletin will suffice tho :-D

Still not sure what caused it. Either the server went down, or the host was having network troubles. Seems that it was down from about 7PM last night until 2 AM this morning....but no one told me about it until 10:30ish - slackers.

I did have a few IMs, but as my away message clearly stated, I was not at home. First time someone told me the site was down wasn't until 11:15, when I got a text from Garrett.
Turns out it was the server that locked up, still not sure why. All it needed was a reboot though....
