Combine the election scenario with the increased demand on fuel due to the lower prices last month and now we're heading for a shortage already. So expect to see prices go right back up. OPEC hasn't helped by cutting back production either. It looks like we'll be in this roller coaster for a while as supply and demand continue to change.

The idea for OPEC recently is that if they can control it enough where they can still rape us, but still have it cheap enough where the cost of alternative fuels would still be higher...they have found a happy medium.

best part is that even if OPEC does keep production the same or increases it we will all get to watch gas prices hang up around hte $2 mark. the gas stations and oil refineries in the US already know we are ****ed into paying it either way, so they wil jsut tack it onto the bottom line and the CEO will get an extra mill in his christmas card.
