Just got back from Rutgers

and man is it crazy over there! i was in the library at around 11AM and it was dead empty. i figured it would be emptier, but not like that. anyways, i got a call from my friend saying to meet him at the "yellow lot" (big commuter lot by the basketball arena) and i get there and i see groups of cars scattered with people bbqing and throwing footballs around. people were actually tailgating at 1PM for a 7:30 game! i eventually found his car, and a couple other cars parked around a grill and some chairs. appearantly, he called our whole group of egyptians at rutgers to come tailgate. 2 or 3 cars eventually turned into 10+. it eventually got rowdy with people doing RU chants. some shady guys came asking to buy tickets for cheap and i eventually got hustled for all my cash by little kids and old ladys asking to donate money to charities.

my friend went to class and it was cancelled cause only 4 out of 25 people showed up. my professors were smarter then that and just cancelled class. so everything at school is a mess, everything put on hold. i had to take back roads home cause the exits were jammed. im sure theres alot more i missed but i think you guys get the idea. im about to go to my friend vito's house to watch the game and kick back some wings :)

that whole area is going to be a nightmare tonight. so much media hype about this game #3 vs #13. probally the biggest game in RU history. being a sports fan i follow all sports and coach schiano has done one hell of a job turning a dormat team into 1 of the top 3 teams in big east. kudos to the whole team they have shown that there is no i in team.

I drove down River Road this afternoon at 3:30 on my way to North Brunswick for a conference. The roads were already packed with people parking at the field, with hundreds of college kids walkin to the field from downtown. The trucks were driving slow across the bridge blowing the airhorns, getting the kids all riled up. Pain in the ass cause I though I was going to be late.

There... I feel better. :)

Congrats to all the Rutgers people! It's been a long time coming, and you certainly deserve it. The way the defense shut down the nation's #2 offense in the second half was simply amazing.....what a game! :cheers:

louisville is an amazing team. they beat us mentally in the first half. a 100 yard punt return, a fake punt to get a first down, and then a 2 point conversion after we blocked a PAT. this brought the score in the middle of the 2nd quarter to 25-7. then our defense really stepped up their game and didnt allow them to score for the rest of the game. this is why we didnt win big, we had to overcome a 18 point deficit. not to mention, last week, rutgers was on a by. we had 2 weeks to sit and worry about this game, meanwhile, louisville crushed WVU which, at the time, was a higher seat. louisville came into this game confident, we came in nervous. amazing man.

I went to the game and it was ****en insane!!! best game ever! me and my friends started tailgating at like 3pm and went into the stadium at like 5:30. everyone was soo ripped, it was amazing. when we got that last field goal the whole stadium went nuts and everyone rushed the field, i remeber running onto the field with one shoe on cuz the other one fell off on the way down :lol: after the game i went down to easton and the street was literally blocked off by cops it looked like freakin mardi gras on easton and college ave, it was soo sick
