I got a ticket tonight for my headlight being out...If I fix it and go to court and show that it's fixed do they take away the fine?

nope, you'll have to pay the fine no matter what, if you go to court and your are not required, you may have to pay court fess as well. just fix it, pay it, not much else to do. The ONLY exception is if the cop said something like "fix and and come to court and i'll drop it" but thats rare.

Well, if that's the case then that really sucks...It's $54.

ANY tack-on ticket is $54

maintenance of lamps
obstruction of view
improper display of plates
etc.

& those are just the ones i've gotten

Yeah, it was the real reason I got pulled over...The reason they weren't fixed immediately in the first place was because I had no money.
