So Im ripping out the kitchen today and Im not off to a good start. First Im emptying out the cabinets, and one of my christmas pepper shakers falls, and *poof* black pepper everywhere, a nice little pile, and now I cant stop sneezing. Fine, what ever.
Fast forward to actual demolition... Rip out the top cabinets, no problem. Then I start to rip out the breakfast bar thing... get to the footer of that, and slam the hammer claw under it thinking it was anchored really well to the concrete. So I yank up on the hammer with a damn good amount of force... its not anchored anywhere near as well as I thought... so up comes the hammer... right into the "dudes". Me = :omg:
After rolling around on the floor for a few minutes, I decide its time to take a break... thus here I am. Ugh its gonna be a long night. :-x

Pics to come later tonight! Now on to laying the tile... then running all the new electric, sheetrocking and spackle, cabinets, top, and backsplash. Finished up the new plumbing last night. Getting there, once this is done, Im done ALL the big **** FINALLY... house party anyone? ;)
