Hey I was just wonderin I am looking into getting a new exhaust on my 2000 ss I was looking for something that had a better sound some better performance then the stock that is on there now. I am not looking for anything crazy probally just cat back has to be somewhat cost effective still paying the college bills, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or knows anyone personally that works mufflers exhaust etc.
Thanks for any help.

magnaflow sounds good and is a decent price, but in my opinion corsa is just the best sounding exhaust ever, but prolly one of the most expensive ones too.
If u have the few extra coin, get a GMMG. If you are on a budget, get a hooker  ... magnaflow sounds good, but everyone and their mother has one. Plus, the tips are way too big.
www.ls1sounds.com is your friend.
mmm ls1sounds.com ...... after hearing what my car will sound close to... i will be working on it A LOT tonight....

After my stock exhaust rusted out from underneath the car, I now have Pacesetter LT's, TSP catted Y with the Magnaflow catback, and it sounds pretty good if you ask me... quiet around town until you stomp it !! :)

What campus on Rutgers I'm there most weekends...
Anyway, a cutout is my vote, most cost effective solution, EVER. If you want a whole setup, look used. You can find good used systems for much cheaper than new. Corsa gets my vote. Good luck.
