i got tired of the standard 27" 4:3 aspect ratio, and with the college bowls going on and playoff's starting up, i figured what the heck.

Now I can also watch TV in 5.1 Dolby Digital surround. I popped in a "Blind Guardian" live concert DVD and holy ****. This rocks!

OH and yea, that cabnet did have a hutch on the top of it, but it had to be "gently" ripped off. You may notice the wood glue on the table to fix some cosmetic damage done to it in the process .... :)

the sharp is a great screen. we got the earlier model 32" aquos at our house for over 4 years now and its working great. congrads man, your gonna love it.
