im ready 2 do my header install on my 98 ta. i got my headers cleaned n painted, i have 2 weld in the new cats into my y pipe, and a few other things which i should be able 2 knock out in a weekend so the only thing i pretty much need is a good set of header gaskets. i was thinking stock gm or maby n after market set so please give me some recomendations. thanx
if you want stockers, i have a set of the GM metal ones, with like almost no use on them. $20

Get a set of Percy's soft seals, you can re-use them almost indefinately if you need to pull the headers off again

From what I deal with the original GM 3-piece metal ones are the best.
stock GM gaskets are the way to go.
Yes.... dont use what the header brand supplied you with... lol Pacesetter gave me paper ones.
..im still tryign to find the stockers i had... anyone whos seen my garage will vouch its not an easy task, but dont worry, i didnt forget you
i used the copper ones that came with my pacesetters and i havent had a problem since
