Hey guys im new to this sight and car care in general i lucked out and got my cousin's 89 I-roc Z28 for my first car. mechanically he has already done alot of the hard work for me so im taking it in my own hands to take care of some cosmetics. to get to the poitn, when it rains i often notice water leaks in and drip onto the seats so i was just wonderin if anyone could tell me which weatherstripping i would need cuz like i said before im kinda new at this and even little speedbumps are proving to be big hills for me. i just dont want to make the wrong choice. heres a website i found and just need help with knowing which choice would be perfect. http://www.partstrain.com/products/ShopBody/Weatherstripping/1989~CHEVROLET~CAMARO~8~5.7~CAMA--005.html .... i appreciate the help

Get it right from GM if you can. It's expensive but will fit the best. And take your time installing it. If you can't find any from GM try calling Year One..they should have it in their Next Generation catalog from a reputable aftermarket supplier.

I picked up a complete T-top kit from my local Pontiac dealer. It came with everything I needed. The best tip we could tell you is make sure you clean the surface good, and to use a good sealant! You'll be leak free if you do it right!

thanks alot guys, im not all too worried about the price i just want to make sure i got the best of the best ya kno lol ne suggestions about where to go for a sealent jus a local hardware store(home depot, loews?)

OER is a good brand and makes very nice stuff. that kit should work well.
one other thing to look at is the adjuster for the locking pins. it has a little play to move up and down. if your seals are still soft and jsut compressed a little from time you can loosen the lock screw(it is a small torx drive i believe) and raise the pin a little. this will put a little more pressure on the seals and help keep the weather out.
