he sheared the axle right at the c-clip eliminator flange. not easy to do, could have been a car with a spool in it that didn't take the time to check teh axles regularly.

sux for that racer, snapped axles are never a good thing...


c-clip eliminators don't keep you from snapping axles, just keep them in the housing better...seen plenty of c-clips let go and the axle(s) slide out to the side:wink:

yeah I know c clip elims dont stop the axles from breaking, but ususally when an axle breaks it breaks somwhere in the middle. that guy was very unlucky.
