WTB - Posi for an 8.5 10bolt with 30 spline axles

Thats cool, i bought a 1992 K1500 blazer over the summer, i know most chevy 4x4's came with open diff's front and rear, in my last pick up i had the same thing, open diffs on both axles, but when i roasted a carrier bearing in teh rear axle, I was able to find a cheap Gov-loc to replace the open carrier while i was in there.

There is nothing wrong with the bearings in my current truck but I was stopped at a light last night in right hand lane and the passenger side rear wheel must have been on some black ice and i almost had to throw it in 4WD just to get that tub rollin. I did a little research and found that the stock 10 bolt axle in that truck is for a 8.5 ring gear and 30 spline axles.

If i can locate a cheap Gov-loc or even an auburn i could throw it in there. Let me know what you find.

I have a spool and 30 spline moser axles with C'clip elim's and long studs... out of 81 z28 with Corporate 8.5 in it........ Don't know if they will work but I will sell it all for 450.00 and I paid that for the axles w/ clips.... Spool has 4.10's richmond's and are clean.. Can include everything in rear if you need it.

in fact some stuff changed today....I will sell my whole rear out of car just redone last yr.... has welded tubes, axle reinforcements welded in already, Moser spool and he is gonna check cause I dont remember if its 30 or 33 spline axles, c clip eliminators, 410 gears, T/A cover, drum to drum for a grand.... let me know.

alls i needs is the carrier, which, truthfully i wont even need till next winter, but if the price is right i'll take it now

I can do the spool axles and 410 gears w/ clip eliminators all moser stuff except ring and pinion which are richmond... I had 8 and change in the spool and axles and clips and 200 for the ring and pinon.. I will sell it all for 450.00 and it's mint. up for grabs still as I can go either way.. may just buy mark williams stuff and go 35spline axles with Ford Ends and Mark Williams spool...let me know.
