I was going to bring the 70 SS396 back to work at lunch time today but saw some stuff on the radar so decided that was a bad idea. But this might be the last chance to drive the car with clean roads for a while so I went home at lunch time and took it out to see how the new mufflers sounded with the 3" exhaust. It's much better than those V-Force mufflers and I took it out on I95 to run up the engine a little. I can definitely feel that it pulls better with the dual 3" exhaust over the old 2-1/4" and it felt and sounded smoother as well. It's decently loud, but nothing close to those 2 chamber mufflers. No drone inside the car so it won't be a problem driving it to shows and cruises. I put it back in the garage and went back to work. 5 minutes later it started to snow some pretty big flakes! That car with those old, dry tires would not do well in anything wet let alone cold and wet! I just hope the roads stay clean enough for a few more days to do another drive or 2. I'm sure we'll get hit with some more serious snow real soon.

Snow is the worst 4-letter word know to man. That about sums it up.

Doesn't even take 1/25 for this car to have problems. Heck, the tires will break loose if I drive through spit! When I get some new tires(if BFG ever makes them again!) it won't be as much of an issue. But with the car being worth around $50,000 it shouldn't be driven in any snow, rain or spit.
