From NJ 101.5 news (http://www.nj1015.com/absolutenm/templates/?a=5494&z=1):

Bramnick also admits that though he has no evidence of phoning while biking being a problem, he drafted the measure based on his observations. He adds that he'd also be happy to explore other bicycling distractions...like riding with one hand! The bill heads to the full assembly for a vote.

Why do they insist on wasting time in the legislature with crap like this when there are so many other problems in this state?

they need to have things on there resumes that shows they care about public safety and they are trying to make a difference and they are worth their 6 figure salaries.

it is fairly typical of modern politics to throw a lot of rhetoric at teh important issues while solving nothing. this is what happens when elections are run by professional advetising agencies instead of people who would like to make a difference in the world.

As the chair of a tax reform group I'm very disheartened to say the least. It seems like the Democratic Party is imploding.

Many people are reading the same headlines and wondering why are they focusing on this distraction instead of fixing the problems?

Many people are fleeing the state.

There is a shock. Dems at all level are a mess. In general, they have too many splintered groups/competeing agendas and can't get together.
