He's got a 96 T/A M6 and put a LT4 cam in it, 1.6 RR's, springs, etc. Its a basic bolt on car w/ 36lb injectors, adj fp regulator, fp gauge, & a pcm4less tune.the guy from pcm4less told him to run 46psi of fuel pressure. the problem is that the car wiill not idle for long at all, he has to keep hitting the throttle to keep it running, and as soon as he would let off, it dies on him. then it takes a while to start back up, sometimes it doesnt start up. It freakin reeks of fuel at and when the car is running with 36psi of fuel pressure, my eyes and sinuses were burning from the exhaust fumes.(running too rich?) . any ideas? hope thats enough info. no egr or pollution pump either. Is it Not getting enough vaccum? too much vaccum? im out of ideas. It also seemed like when i put my hand over the MAF, it fired right up instead of taking a while to start

pcm4less does garauntee their tunes and will offer adjustments as needed. did he try talking to them yet?
get it hooked up to a computer and data log what is going on. OBD2 has plenty of iputs to give you and the tuner the answers to all your questions.

yeah you should be able to scan generic parameters with your version of hpt.

Did it work for you? Brian at PCM's for less is an outstanding tuner (the best for LT1's IMO). If for any reason his tune is off, like posted above, I'm sure he'll retune it for free.

More than likely his tune is accurate, and somethings up with the car. The scan will help track it down, but sounds like a bad MAF to me.
