we have a take out, went to BBC -- just freshened 25 passes ago -- 355 SBC 1970s vintage 700100 ( 509 ) block 4 bolt -- Gm steel crank ( nitrite ) -- eagle 5.7 H beam rods w/ updated bolts -- BRC 13/1 hollow dome pistons -- Hoffman pro stock .087 wall tool steel pins -- C&A total seal rings 1/16 1/16 3/16 std tension oil - balanced with fluid dampener and tci flywheel as assembly - 8000 RPM motor all day any gear -- crane .670 / .655 roller - w/crower roller pin oiling roller lifters - .080 comp black carbon finish 210 degree tipped push rods - jessel shaft rocker set up with jessel tooling -- 1.5 intake / 1.55 exhaust ratio rockers and extra shims as well -- AFR 227 spread port Heads were flow ported to match each other - down nozzle injected style ( brownfield alky design ) 2.05 intake .100 long -- 1.60 exhaust .100 long -- 5 angle valve job seriti - 10* *** retainers 1.550 - w/ pac alloy CC springs 255 lbs on the seat -680 lbs open -- have shoenfield stall pattern spread port stepped 1-3/4 to 1-7/8 to 3-1/2 collector 29 inch runners they are rapped with egt bungs and sippers as well -- cam correct -w/ L/s tensioner type timing chain with tooling ( nascar type ) - 7 qt canton pan with anti spark skater and slotted - B&B oil pump - steel d shaft w/welded pickup 70 lb spring std volume w/ .070 block cross drilled jets for oil galley - coated cam bearings and H type clevite race series rod and mains ( .125 chamfer on mains ) - cloyes alloy cam cover w/ adjustable cam end bearing / t chain has torrington rear bearing and lightened gear multi adj bottom gear and cloyes cover has a door to do adjustment -- Holley small high vol intake 2" plastic spacer with billet carb cable spring attachment and a 750 HP race series Gas type multi adjustable carb ( 12 replaceable jet type ) - msd dist with msd crank trigger wheel and pickup -- 70 amp alt w/ Jones cog ( low drag round style ) belt and crank spicket from Jones with extra room for alky set up if needed / alloy water pump roundy style valve covers with 4 stacks -- this is a very nice race motor also have another part filled with hard block ( 509 ) 70s 4 bolt to go with and its std bore -- looking for 6000 --- 15,700 to build something like this in my shop -- jz
