I'll have to find the article, but I read that he owns stock in a major petroleum corporation as well. A classic do as I say, not as I do.

His tour in Vietnam because the Sr gore was in politics was in an air condition hotel with room service -- like Kerry only stayed long enough to use it as a political pawn -- typical limo liberal --- will tell you how global warming is your fault and how you should send money to his cause -- the guy is a slime Clinton used him as his VP because he even knew his was worthless -- jz

The guy is an annoying bore, but I do side with him on most of his opinions about the state of the global environment. And sometimes in order to get your point across about global warming you have to put your share into it, weather it be flying all around the world, driving cross country, burning gallons of fuel, ect... in order to inform people about your concerns.
But either way, over a grand on your electric bill is freggin re-donk-ulous, especially if your telling other people to conserve energy...

Yeah seriously! And, it's only him and his wife in that 10K square-foot house! He should be conserving energy by not heating and using lights in the other 9K square-feet they don't use.
My worst gas/electric bill this year was $330, and I have a 3.5 year old and an infant. We do a ton of laundry and keep our heat at 70* so the little ones don't freeze.

Global warming has always existed and it is a normal thing. It actually has patterns from high to low. The last low point was the last Ice age which was about 100,000 years ago. Since then it has been getting gradually intense, and IMO it is normal when it happens naturally. Within the past century global temp jumped up about a degree or two and this is actually a big jump. Considering under normal situations it would take the Earth about a thousand years in order to go up a degree. But I hear global warming has been on the down fall in the past few years and the Earth can “heal” itself but it’ll be a while. Anyway there are many other problems going on besides global warming.
Stick that in your pipe and smoke it:lol: ..!

i jsut think that it is funny to think about the when the whole global warming hype started in the 80's. previous t the mid-80's the international conferences were all talking about global cooling. lol
maybe if they keep guessing they will eventually get it right.
