I needed to use that table to find my speed. Lid, catback, freemods and a new clutch i was running 5700rpm in 5th which came out to be 172mph! the t/a still felt stable too

Back when I still had the 3.42's I had 5th gear up to 6500 RPM. The gear calculater says 196. I don't know if it actually was that fast, but I'm pretty confident it was well over 180.

no. unless a code was set while you were going that fast, then the speed and engine rpm would be stored in the freeze frame data.

turbo Is 300 would you be speaking of mike lol! the fastest Ive gone on 4 wheels is undetermined because the Dakota's speedo stops at 85 once the truck was getting airborne over some bumps in the road I slowed down but on street bike i forget to look at the speedo!

93 T/A I hade buried past the 150 mph mark so what ever that would be with 3.73 grs

nah sold it before i left scotland was considering importing it but couldnt be bothered with the hassle it had not been long in scotland either it only arrived from japan 4 months before i left for states. Single turbo conversion was a big improvement over the TT setup

A good buddy of mine back in IN has one. Together we have changed up a lot including a new fuel system and a single Turbo as well. Those things are monsters! Most hardcore F-body guys will hate me for this, but I am currently saving for one.

For the Datsun I had to use a gear calculator as the speedo only went up to 85mph :lol: I hit that speed during a race with my buddy's Benz 280SE where we wanted to find out who had the faster 280. He said he maxed out at 135mph and I was walkin him the whole time so I guess its fairly accurate.

I've had the Corvette at 186mph. Autobahn A5 Germany. Slp exhaust, Vararam intake, H/C. New cam and heads in a few months. I wouldn't even try that here in Jersey. Germany's autobahn are unbelievable. Especially around 8 at night when traffic is very thin. I know another guy in our German Corvette club that has me beat 189MPH.

Fbody will not hit 200 before parts fly off.. Physics (sp) plus the HP needed to reach that speed would have to be 700+ in a fbody.

If it's geared just right, with a powerful motor, I bet 200 might be able to be achieved without a blower.

I have seen a 93 Z, 383 with a T-Trim do 212 on the stock body (except for being lowered and having a different spoiler) in 5th gear with the 2.73's. It was in an old issue of GMHTP. It was Burgandy (and it was sweet!)
