eh, if you want to live in the negative you can talk all day long about his "creative" use of rule books in the past too. fact is he took a nothing business and a hobby and turned them both into success stories.
the result is a long and successful career, a pile of patents, millions in consulting fees, and some of the baddest door slammers ever built.

he is a bum nuf said, he has stolen so many other peoples ideas its amazing. he may have a sucessful car but lets see how many other big names you see with a musci motor. hmmm none beacause he only builds the best for himself. his reputation is more bad then good, if you do your homework im sure you can dig up all the lawsuits hes had for ripping off peoples ideas, and not giving them what they pay for. i give credit where credit is due such as people like iaconnio or the schumacher team, not bums. now with that said im done with this convo.

i know about the law suits. 99% of them are for people who came up with stuff while working for him under intellectual property contracts. that is what you get for working at a development company.
if you want to argue about who comes up with original ideas and who doesn't in the cloak and dagger world of high end drag racing this can go on for weeks. remember when the johnson's got sued by chrysler? how about when bernstein got hauled into the NRHA trailer for suposedly stealing secrets from Amoto?
they are all up to it and the only people with actual original ideas are the ones not saying anything. it is racing at the top, it is cut throat, it is the cost of being the best.

I got an opportunity to meet him and tour his shop a few years back. A friend of my brothers was on his crew.

They had Merlin blocks and high buck parts stacked up like cordwood. Very impressive.

"In those six seconds, Musi's 2007 Pontiac GTO will reach a speed of 227..."

Huh? 2007?
