hi, i am looking for a set of rear window louvers for my 1989 iroc. im also looking for a stock cat cheap for "display" :) i know junkyards nd stores are not allowed to sell used catalitic converters, but are you allowed to here? thanks albert III

what size cat do you need? i dont know what size they are on 3rd gens but i think we have one sitting around at work that you could probably hollow out...ill have to check on the size though

are you welding it up or just clamping it in place? if you want to weld it up and have it look realy official, any cat with a 2inch or larger in/out wil work. just cut the ends open, remove the unwanted material, then jam the 3 inch or whatever size pipe you need through it and weld it in place. :)

haha wtf? that was fast.. umm idk what i want to do, i was thinking since i dont hvae the resources i was gonna get a stock one, have my friend who goes to tech for welding cut it up, hollow it out good, then bolt it up..will this work?

Yes sir! Dont even have to cut it up, just knock all the crap out of the middle of it :-)

ok sounds good..now i need one that bolts up to a borla system..my stock one did so any stock one will do anyone got one for a 89 5.7 camaro? also if i run the borla with no plates, will i throw a code? it runs like absolute ***** and has no power? any help will do..also matt u work at ed's, do u think i could stop down and you could take a look at it for me? u would have to come to my house as its not registered, i only live 2 mins from ed's right past quick check.. i dont know what your plans are, but i would like another opinion, let me know when ever u can do it if you dont mind, no rush//thanks every one
