How can I mount some screws to the top of my car so I dont have to deal with broken clips, and it will be easier to remove some other time. What are some of your ideas? I was thinking jb weld? I HATE CLIPS!!!!!!!!

Screws for the pillar or for the headliner? Either way I don't really thing it will work. You can eliminate the headliner clips I believe. I know with an ABS backed one you definitely can.

Wich abs, backed headliner is the best? I thought the light in the middle holds the headliner up, but the a piller things make it nice and the front all the way up.

I got my headliner from Hawks. And yes the light supports the center and the visors and pillars support the front....sorry if I confused you.

Stay with the clips because over time you will remove and replace the A pillars. While they seem like a PITA, they were designed for multiple removals. Over time, the plastic will weaken and they will break, but we're talking many years here.
I bought my ABS headliner from 1A Auto. Good, strong headliner with easy installation. Only tricky part was lining up the screw holes for the sunvisors. Between the dome light, the sun visors, and the rear trim piece that all holds up the headliner, you can remove the headliner clips in the front.

Do you know what the "bolt" like things are that hold the domelight up are called?

YOu mean the silver posts that you slide the round clips up and over onto? I don't know what they're called specifically. Did you break one?

The silver posts are used to actually hold the dome light assembly to the roof / t-top T bar. Slide the plastic dome housing over the two posts, then use circular clips to hold the dome light and headliner up in the center of the roof.
Remember that the black part of the dome light, behind the white lens cover actually faces the front of the car. At first it will look like the dome is facing backwards, but thats the correct placement.
Be happy its just the dome light. If you were hanging an overhead console, hanging a new headliner becomes a lot more tricky. :)
