Some of you know I blew the rear @ Atco late November 06. I wanted a few things done to the car while it was being worked on.

3500 stall
Dyno tune
upgrades on the transmission.
upgrade the rotors and brakes

Today I thought I was gonig to get the car back, but on the shake down runs it turns out more then rear went on the car. I lost 3rd and OD in the A4.

So I will now have a new Hi-Po Trans from Anger Mgt Racing here in Brick and should have the car back by Monday. The rear axle housings have been tac welded in spots and heavy duty girdle added new diff and gears.

Cars has 35k on the clock and has been rebuilt from the ground up, twice in some areas.

Gotta love racing ..lol

i hope to run a 12.2 or 12.1 out th box with the new trans and stall.

right off rt 88, I got some feed back from people in the industry and they have a good rep and are one of the sponsors of the corvette challenge @ etown.

That sucks about your trans, but it sounds like you have everything under control. By "rear axle housings" I assume you mean axle tubes... did they just tack it our did they follow the right procedure for welding steel to cast iron? I guess it doesn't really matter if the rear is all set up now though.

Not sure (axle tubs to the housing have been taced), its still going to be the weak point of the car. I hope it last a year so I can save up for a Dana S60 set up.

Yeah, it's on borrowed time anyway LOL. I was just making sure that you didn't pay to get a half ass job done on something you were planning on not replacing. :D

This is the 3rd rebuild since I've owned it and it only has 35K on the clock. Sticky tires and launching hard on the line just kill it. The Auburn center section just blew up (pretty sad looking)

Auburn diff? Yeah, I haven't really heard good things about them. They aren't horrible but there are better ones out there.

who is doing your tune? i would suggest getting a street tune after it is on the rollers to sort out the rest of the program. it is a nice car and i am sure you want to keep 100% of the drivability and whatever is left of the gas mileage. lol
