Most of the "bands that really arent around" ... Rage Against the Machine (reuniting in coachella this april, along with a cpl tours with Wu-Tang w00t!!!!), Limp Bizkit, 311, Static-X, etc ... I also listen to 90's type rap, none of this LEAN WIT IT ******** lmao, like Method Man, Redman, etc.

They are awesome, one of my favorite bands. Do or Die is a great album, and Sing loud... is good too, but the albums in between suck IMO. Rancid is a good one too, they put on a hell of a show. Shame about Lars...

I fluctuate between punk and classic rock depending on what I'm up to. "Pop" punk kinda pushed me away from most punk.

I listen to a such a large variety of music. I like some rap, reggaeton, a lot of Rock, some pop, but absolutely hate country. Some of my current favorite bands are 30 Seconds to Mars, new AFI, Andrew WK, Atreyu, CKY, Gorillaz, Killswitch Engaged, John Mayer, Linkin Park, Muse, Nickelback, Queens of the Stone Age, and Audioslave.

I listen to just about everything (except for country). My favorites to listen to while I'm in one of the F-bodies would have to include Metallica (except St. Anger album), Deftones, Limp Bizcut, Bullet for my Valentine, Linkin Park, Fuel, In Flames. I can’t listen to music if I don’t like the singer’s voice – like Yes. Great band, but I detest Jon Anderson’s voice. For some reason I never got into Pantera for the same reason. I love great voices. Pat Benatar, old Heart (Ann Wilson), most anything with Paul Rodgers (Free, Bad Co, The Firm, now Queen). A lot of blues & soul singers have terrific voices (like Etta James, Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin). I can’t figure out when singers decided a warbling singing style (ala Christine Aguilera) was better then a smooth, strong singing style.

The only country I like is the Allmans, some Skynyrd, and the Rolling Stones. And CS&N. So, no country. No rap except Anthrax and NWH.

I listen to a lot of live music. I totally need a friggin ipod. One of them 60G ones.

:werd: Yes I am redneck, and am proud of it :-) Add some Hank Williams Jr, Toby Keith, Josh Turner, Kenny Chesney, Jake Owen, Jack Ingram, Brooks & Dunn, Chris Cagle, Big & Rich, and some more to that and thats pretty much my country fix. I listen to pretty much everything, look at my music folders on this computer and its pretty much anything you can think of.

I was introduced to dragonforce today... as my friend's roommate said "the only thing stopping them from being completely amazing is that their lyrics suck"... but if you get past the subject matter/image then you can hear some of the best guitar playing I think I've ever heard

Black Sabbath/Heaven And Hell guitarist Tony Iommi and bassist Geezer Butler, singer Ronnie James Dio, and drummer Vinny Appice (Black Sabbath, Dio) will be signing copies of the new Black Sabbath CD, "The Dio Years," on Tuesday, April 3rd between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at Best Buy (44th & 5th Avenue) in New York City.

The store will not be allowing any lines before 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. However, copies of "The Dio Years" can be purchased first thing Tuesday morning for the evening signing. Only copies of "The Dio Years" CD will be signed. Please do not bring any other CDs or items of memorabilia as they will not be signed by the band.

Heaven And Hell's March 30th concert at Radio City Music Hall in New York City will be filmed/recorded for the group's upcoming live CD/DVD, tentatively due this fall.
