I think I'm going to actually try and go this time with a few local friends...Is anyone else in or already going? (Racing or watching)

Matt (west not mustang matt) I don't know what time yet - probably we'll aim to be there around 12ish so yeah most likely before three.

Mustang matt - sweet, good luck with that. post back if you're coming for sure so i can be on the lookout for ya

I am proud to say I came up with that. I heard ricers talking in my free period one time, and saying engines like that they hoped to get in the near future, and i was playing battleship online, thus.....

tempting...i'm going to be out in hackettstown in the morning for my fantasy baseball draft.

i'm trying to postpone the need for a 9 inch rear until early summer though.

If we get enough people.

My local friends are going Friday now, so we if we get the same-ish amount of people then its probably better to go this Friday. I'm sure I'll go again in the not-too distant future.

looks like my car *should* be finished within the next 10 minutes...putting the new driveshaft in now. i just may be around either tomorrow night or sunday

saturdays not the day to come and test and tune your cars if thats what you plan on doing.. do that on friday or sunday.. if you want to bracket race, thats what saturday is. plus this saturday has a bigger purse for winner and runner up than usual.. ill be running my dragster for the first time this season :D

btw, ill be at island all 3 days this weekend. friday and sun ill probably be tooling around in my 02 z, saturday look for the girl in the blue dragster.. theres only one of me :)

I think I saw Savage_MEssiah (short?). But I wasn't sure so I didn't say hi. You probably saw me giving you funny looks though to see if you were from here.

nope, neither of them were there.. and i was in the tower, so you wouldnt have seen me :lol:

Yea I saw you pull around, I waved but you didn't see me. I didn't see you the whole night haha. Are we even allowed up in the tower?

Oh and I saw you in that little booth talking with teh ticket lady (my friend and i were in the car waiting to buy tickets haha).

actually, you probably saw my mom in the booth talking with the ticket lady.. im pretty sure i wasnt in there all night... i think you have me confused ;)

oh, and typically racers arent allowed in the tower unless they're collecting 100 mph run certificates.. i was working the computer the whole night.

It was your car so i assumed it was you. I didn't see a face only the back of a head. IT was before racing started...about 6:20ish?

hmmm, mom definitely doesnt drive my car. so it probably was me. and i believe i have the only burgundy z there soooo.... i have no idea what i was doing :lol:
