Does anyone know why Super Chevy doesn't host a show at E-Town? I was just curious I went to Maple Grove last year and I just felt E-Town would be a good location for it. If anyone knows why they don't have it in Jersey or if they do a rotating tour schedule or something feel free to inform me...thanks.

i seem to remember it being at e town i might be incorrect -- but e town only looks at the bottom line and if something has a higher return than that -- money before anything else rule -- jz

They had it at e-town for a year or two like 10 years ago. It wasn't well attended, so no more. MG, and now down in Maryland are closests.

the super chevy shows have gotten really lame. it costs a fortune to get in, there are hardly any vendors, and very few pro cars. there was even a streak for a few years that the same cars were winning the same classes without any updates from year to year.

Yeah, but the cool thing about them is that vendors show up with parts that would otherwise have to be shipped truck frieght.

Last year was my first time :( I thought it was a weak show because it rained all weekend; that's a disappointment.

Few decent venders show up to e-town swap meets anymore either.

The Super Chevy shows at E-town were nothing compared to the other main ones. But over time they got too expensive to go to and the vendor list kept getting weaker. I haven't been to a Super Chevy in 8-9 years I think.

Always heard bad things about the SC shows at the grove. Always too hot, too crowded, too much down time, too many people, or it was raining all weekend. After hearing all the bad stuff from friends that used to attend back in the day, I kinda gave up on the event.

we did not get their last year but the year before we had 15 cars that all parked together and we had a blast - yea it was hot and way to many mini bikes going 75 MPH but the BBQ was over the top for the 3 nights - all who came with us helped out with the cars that broke RE did a glide between rounds from parts 3 guys brought and everyone still talks about it - car in question went on to win money that day -- jz
