so the button and cord I bought from jegs to hook up my trans brake didn't come with any instructions for anything. Nothign saying what wires are what and which posts they attach to on the switch WTF. Anyone with any experience on this?

one wire on the brake solenoid gets grounded and the other goes to the button. The button just gets hot on one side and the other pole goes to the solenoid.. simple.
If you are spraying it or want to use a 2 step the install gets a little more complicated and you will have to use a 5 pole relay..

Thanks for the info. The cord has a black and a white wire. I guess I'll make the black one ground. The only thing is the button has 3 posts on the back that aren't labeled. So I don't know which one gets ground, power, and trans brake solenoid. Any ideas?

3 wire buttons are for no delal box but still being able to use the studder control in the msd 7 al 3 - or 7al 2 with a 2 step - one to t brake sol and one to studder control both on and off at the same time - test light it to make sure you have the correct one - power in one wire and when depressed the other two are powered up -- jz
