Ain't she a beaut? Got it delivered to the office along with the oil pickup. Josh at JS Performance already has my new oil pump, gasket, studs etc. and a new PA Racing K-member on the way. More pics when it all gets installed.

Canton makes some of the best pans, i got one for my sbc that i had in the 86.......

they are the best HP pans made - only thing we found is make sure you check the oil pump depth = screen to bottom and clean it real good -- watch your wrist on the edges its a razor blade - been their -- jz

Ugh, thank god we are doing the k member it will be much easier with the kickout that pan has!

they have come out with this version its 10 percent more power on average - is what they told us anyway but the idea of an out side trouft to catch slung oil from the crank is a very good one dont you agree -- jz

Absolutely, in a race application, the faster and further you can get the oil off of and away from the crank the better off you are.. In a street application, I am happy to have a little increased capacity and a quality pan that does not leak.. I cant see a reason to split hairs on a car that is going to be seeing mostly cruise use..
