Welp, today is the first day of the unstable bob gable slimming program! Gotta do it up, big time! I can't believe how hard it is for me to just climb over my door bar to get into the AMX! Losing weight has so many things going for it, including less weight=faster car! At least yesterday I went out in style...had some stuffed pizza for lunch, and 3 kinds of BBQ for dinner. So, wish me luck, and pass the veggies!

Think rice cakes! :barf: Good luck with the diet. I find that munching on small snacks all day long helps me eat smaller meals. Oh, and I try to exercise with riding the bike a lot and even just taking a 30 minute walk at lunch time helps keep your system burning those calories.

Congrats on the healthy choice Bob! While deployed last fall, I started reading "Men's Health" magazine. It has like a million different ways to get in better shape, loose weight, and live healthier. Ever since then I have been a bit of a health nut. I'm sure you probably have a ton of other people trying to suggest different ways to help you out. When it comes down to it, you just have to stick with what works for you. If not, here's just a couple big things that can help;

1. Cut out carbonated beverages (Soda, Pop, whatever you call it). It is LOADED with sugar, and carbs that will stick with you.

2. Cut down on portions. This is a big one for me, as I find myself always wanting to eat until I am stuffed. Eating just enough to make you not hungry can make a HUGE difference.

3. Try eating something little every couple of hours. This will speed up your metabolism, and can actually give you a little more energy.

4. Excercise. Keep it small at first, but try to add a little more here and there to your workout. Make it fun to, like playing racketball or basketball, or something you can look forward to each time.

Good luck!

Thanks for all the advice and well wishes...except those from Stickboy JL8 Jeff. You friggin' human rope, one of my legs weighs more than your whole dayum body! :evil: Anywho, the day is almost done, and looks like I'll survive. I have one more meal allowed to me, and I need it! I also drank a ton of water today, and was running for the bathroom every 5 minutes. All the guys at work were busting my chops, and offering to go get me a pizza! :mrgreen:
