Just thought I would introduce myself. I'm actually from western PA but there doesn't seem to be as many f-body groups in the area. I hope to attend some of the events this summer and look forward to meeting some fellow f-body enthusiasts. As an intro I have an 88 formula 350. It's in the garage now--what started as a simple project, intake gaskets and new injectors, turned into removal of the entire drivetrain and a complete redo of the engine bay. Some day I might even finish it. I will post some pics. Looking forward to hearing from anyone.

I plan on coming to the E. coast nationals. I tend to drive long distances. I once drove to chicago and back in the same day just to see the new challenger. That was fun.
welcome to the site :)
where abouts in PA are you? I went to school in Blairsville.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. I am from a small town called New Wilmington. It's about an hour north of Pittsburgh. Ian, i also went to school in Blairsville. I went to Vale Tech. Unfortunately the Wyotech school started about a year after I left. I still go there to visit some of the teachers though.

Since you're in Western PA, and you drive long distances, you may want to consider the Ohio Firebird clubs that are around Columbus and Dayton. Columbus would certainly be closer, and what... 3 hours away? Definately closer than the 5+ hour drive to NJ from western PA. I drive my family out to Washington, PA several times a year.
Welcome to the club, regardless where you end up. Good group here and might help you with some tech info. Good luck!

My parents live 15 minutes from slippery rock. Right now I have an apartment just north of Pittsburgh--its about 1.5miles from work. I come back to new wilmington on the weekends.
I have seen the other clubs in Ohio and suck but there seems to be a lot more going on the closer you get to the coast. I hope to organize some of the f-body guys from the weekly friday night cruise-in to hit the coast a few times. A little fun on the highway is a great start to the weekend. I'll make it out there at least once summer. I travel to Paramus sometimes for work so maybe I can time things right.
Thanks to all for the great welcome. If anyone is headed for the 'burgh, contact me.
AH, vale tech. I went to wyotech in 2003-2004. I used to cruise out to either butler or jeanette (sp?) I forget which one, but one of those towns had a great cruise night on fridays...or maybe it was saturdays...in any event, welcome to the club and try to make it out here for the east coast nats in august :)
