2004 Dodge Neon 5 speed SXT
Single CD player
Appearance package (15 inch wheels and rear wing)
Color: Grey
Grey cloth interior
Approx 33,000 miles

Reason for putting it up for sale..... 3 knee surgeries on my left knee.... I just can't drive a manual car anymore, the clutch pedal puts too much stress on the knee.

Ok, I bought the car back in August 2003 as a 2004 car... it was one of the first model year 2004's the dealer got.

It has regular oil changes every 3,000 miles by me. It is mostly my commuter car.... and most of its life has seen highway driving.

The car runs on regular gas - worst gas mileage has been 26 mpg - best gas mileage has been 38 mpg - Typically sees 30-32 mpg.

I have done minor modifications which I can remove:
Xenon headlights
Iceman cold air kit
Motor mount inserts
Speakers
Rear strut bar

I installed mister juice's SRT4 exhaust on the car.... but can easily put the SXT muffler back on.... or I even have the entire stock SXT exhaust in my basement if one is interested.

I do not want to sell this car... but due to my knees getting much worse, it is that time to cut my losses and get an automatic.

If you go to www.kbb.com (kelly blue book) and look up private party value it says: $7790 for "good" condition. I would consider the car in "good" condition. I'm putting it up for $6,500 because I want to sell this manual car and get an automatic as soon as possible.

Price is negotiable.

Eh, a beater is a car you use as a daily driver and beat on. It can be any price. My beater is $50k. And besides, a newer car (that's not even 4 years old yet) will be a better investment than a $2k junker that you have to shell out money to keep running.

But to each his own.

Gotta pass, thank you though.

My beater/ DD has to get good gas mileage - to me, that is around 30 mpg

Thank you though
