Awesome! I loved 28 days later and I'm kinda in the mood for zombie flicks (just came back from watching Grindhouse)

Ok first off 28 days later is NOT a zombie flick, second I'm a little upset over the fact that they changed the Rage Virus in order to make it fit into their mold better. One of the bad ass things about 28 days later was that you had like 30 seconds and then you are fully infected with Rage, this movies its been like 6 or 7 months since the last reported infection and they let a carrier who shows no sign of infection into an area and all of a suden they go full blown into Rage and start infecting people, wtf. Idk that one thing that's gonna put a bad taste in my mouth before I ever see it.

Blockbuster will... for a small fee. :)
I agree somewhat with the Rage onset time - one of the truly horrific aspects of the first movie was the speed with which a victim succumbed.
But viruses do mutate. This is just a twist on the previous movie, making it different. What we don't need is a rehash of the same thing. A slower onset time is also horrific - who is infected, and how long until they succumb?
The scene showing the jets flying over napalming everyone was awesome. When in doubt, cure it with flames.

It's illegal to copy movies and I would NEVER do it!!! Although if I were to, I would probably do it for like 5$ or so and could probably get any movie made some up to a week before they come out. That is if I were to participate in something that illegal.
I agree tho, that napalm scene was flippin sweet!

The new one looks pretty cool. I liked the first one, but they threw the movie together without a lot of organization. Did any of you see the bonus stuff on the dvd? I think they should have filmed the original ending the way it was written, where they go back to the hospital where it all started, instead of just wandering around the English countryside.

I meant that in a good way. It's definitely not a traditional zombie movie (the 'infected' don't eat brains and they don't slowly shuffle along with their arms outstretched) but the main elements are there: small band of survivors battles legions of former humans as society quickly decays and primal urges reign supreme. Blood and guts ensue.

The whole time-rage thing is probably due to a mutation of some sort. they wouldn't leave a plot hole like that.

Well its not a zombie movie cause the infected are not reanimated corpses, but I do agree wholehartedly that save for that one aspect it does contain every other aspect of a good zombie movie.

Viruses are insidious and adaptable...just look at AIDS. It can hide in cells for years with no signs and then boom! Now there's even a strain that kills within 6 months. Marburg,Ebola,Rabies,Smallpox,Menengitis etc. Yes the only cure is the cleansing touch of fire. heh, heh, yeah fire FIRE FIRE!

the virus is also adapting to be smaller, this may mean soon not even a condom will make a difference for HIV
