Nothing like sitting on a cold, wet seat! I need to look at the t-top and weatherstripping to see why it's dripping past but the driver's seat was pretty damp from this rain.
make sure when the top is put down that the little lip on the body weatherstripping comes outside and aroudn the ttop rubber.

I bought an old 3rd gen second hand years ago and it had a small leak on teh passenger side. My father working for Pontiac at the time gave me a tube of GM weather strip conditioner (P/N: 12345579) to make my weather stripping around the T-tops soft and plyable as it was hard and brittle at the time. it worked like a charm, may work for you. I even condition the weather stripping on my new car once a year, i had great sucess with that stuff

I just used that conditioner on my T-tops, doors, and trunk area. Takes about an hour or so but well worth it in the long run.

Yesterday I did a final adjustment to the t-tops and it worked. My major leak is stopped and now I can sit in my car without a towel

Towing a couple thousand pounds + high torque, rear wheel drive = twisted body. Re-seat the tops, check the stripping, then grab a hose and start watering the car. :)
My SS doesnt see rain anymore so i dont have to worry. lol

put some SFC's on that thing
my t-tops leak sometimes...when they feel like it. usually where the 2 pieces of weatherstripping meet between the t-top and the door weatherstripping

That happened to me one time...the t-top seal wasnt sealed right. There was a good inch on the passenger side front....And for whatever reason....my V6 didnt have a floor heat vent? What a PITA!! My car was pissed anyway that she was sitting out in the rain over night
i used to get puddles in the floor of my old vert, then i took the drain plugs out and left them out, then it would just be a damp carpet, lol
What can you use to condition the weatherstripping? Just the lube from GM?

The Gm weather stripping conditioner works great but it is only Dielectric grease in a different tube..

I have not read all replies but my third gen has a cam in the T-Top socket so you can adjust it. This solved my leak peoplem.

My T-Top leaks right in the middle of the t-top and leaks all over my shifter and window switches!! i have no clue where to start to fix the problem!

most likely the middle metal ttop bar is rusted out under the weather stripping.

Well I said mine were fixed but after this storm they started to leak but nothing big. Once it gets nice put more silicone down and it will be fine
