My college roommate grew up right there, and he had a sweet 71. And a crappy 84 Z28. But that won't help you now. :)
I think some of our members go to school down there (Stockton?).

I know where you are too. That's where Carlton used to live. I'm in Galloway at a neighborhood right in front of the new Assumption school construction. I'll be on the lookout for your LS2 GTO. What color are you getting?

Im new to the area, but i think I know where you are. I still have a few mths until i'll be ready to buy but you might have to be out on the lookout for a terminator instead ;) Ive always wanted a Cobra, and seeing the videos of them just blowing away LS1's is hard to overlook. Most places still want a arm and a leg for them and I would only buy one stock.

Good luck finding one without a 15-20K mark up. It's total bullcrap. Those things are fast though.

No doubt about it. I think the 2003-2004 Cobras look even better than the new Shelby Cobra and were great bang for the buck when they were on sale brand new.

Oh I thought you were lol. Anyways, you can find the 03-04s ALOT cheaper than the new ones. My buddy used to have one before some lady ran a stop sigh while he was going by at 55 mph...totaled his car :(

That sucks, Im actually leaning towards the LS1, it'll be much cheaper which will leave more mod money.

If I was in the cheap, new car market now, I would consider a brand-new leftover '06 GTO. If not, then I would just wait two years for a 2009 camaro. Good luck with whatever you purchase.
