THIS IS A NEAR OR TOTALY IMPOSSIBLE TO GET DIGITAL DASH THAT HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED FOR MANY YEARS AND NOW ONE IS FOR SALE FOR THE 86 TO 92 BIRD !!!!! This Dash is out of my 86 TA that had taken many many awards from multiple 1st at the transam nationals in ohio also grand champion editirs choice too my classic car hpp magazine and so so many other awards and what not. I say this to let you know that this dash is perfect in every which way and my car had allways been climaticly stored. This dash is not to be confused with the digital dash that was offerd in the 6 month run of the GTA'S 87 to 88. This digital dash is by Cyberdyne , I have clear photos of the dash with the car both cold and hot to show to anybody thats intersted and also show that the guages are in working order. The speedo goes to199 mph and the tach goes to either 9 or 10,000 rpm If my memmory suites me right. The tach lights up on the outer permitter with green then yellow then red led's in conjunction with increasing higher rpm's as well as digital rpm read out and the exact same scenerio with the speedo also. I had purchased the dash in 1988 from firebird/transam of america in new eagle pa. 390.00 back then. Reason im selling it is because after rebuilding my 86 ta into the monster it is :-) I removed most of the original gm wiring and lost my electronic speed p.u. so my speedomoter/odometer does not work as they both are picked up electronicly. IT DOES WORK BUT I HAVE NO MORE OF THE ORIGINAL GM WIRING TO MAKE IT WORK. I am doing a total short sweep electric guage conversion from auto meter the pahntom series with a speedometer cable driven speedo for which im installing the gearing housing and what not to convert it. THIS DASH WILL ONLY WORK WITH THE STOCK WIRING IN THE CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I am selling it as a literally bolt out bolt in application absoloutly no wiring needs to be done. I did the wiring and never had a problem in 19 years of using it hensforth the reason im seling it as 1 complete unit . This whole kit will contain the following,2 pieces of smoked plexi glass one for each p.c. board, the 2 p.c. boards the left being the speed and tach and the right being the oil gas water and volts, The entire dash cluster that the digital dash is screwd to which is the original dash cluster that the original guages were housed in, my odometer at 39,700 miles and the trip meter also. All of my original 1986 guages are removed obviously to install the digital dash in its place. I am awaiting my gearing to do this conversion. My dash is still in the car and will be out by the end of the month April. If any other questions or request for photos arise ? Please email me at [email]MY24K86TA@AOL.COM

Hi conlin. I am asking 400.00 yes I know it might seem high but this a quality unit out of a quality car and has been cared for like it was bought 19 years ago and is literally in out of the box condition . My trans am has been babyed for almost 21 years of me owning it. That price thats the whole thing thats not only 2 pc boards. In todays day and age thats not a bad price for this item a digital dash that cant be found. I had priced out from autometer some different guage sets and a more hi end set i priced out over 500.00 of course i didnt go with that set. This set I got by the time i got done was at the 400.00 ball park range if you include the black plexiglass that there embossed in. This is literally a bolt out bolt in and go. I have photos if you wish to see what it looks like. If it does not sell on here or 3rd gen im gonna ebay it with a reserve. So if the price is to high for you and i understand if it is please ask around my friend . Thank you for the inquiry
