this is an accel dfi 6 setup with a TON of extras.

Hardware:
full harness with several optional add ons - torque convertor lockup control, the adapter to run either large cap or small cap distributor (divorced coil will need factory wiring), knock sensor with electronic spark control box. It also comes with an 8 injector adapter harness, as well as a brand new heated oxygen sensor an extra temperature sensor, and a 1 bar map sensor.

The unit natively supports 1, 2 or 3 bar maps, and can do alpha-N tuning as well as speed density, so it's ideal for boosted or heavily modified apps. However, it's also a great alternative to a stock computer for a stock or lightly modified tuned port vehicle as well.

It has all the controls of a factory computer, only with the ability to do live, real-time tuning vs. having to burn chips over and over. And it is a stand-alone unit for fuel injection control. You do not need to retain your factory tpi harness, etc.

Software:
includes a dell inspiron celeron 700 laptop set up with an actual serial port (find one of those on a newer laptop), that has a bootable cd rom to go right into dos and the calmap software, and you're ready to tune. The laptop has issues and is not particularly useful for much beyond tuning, so don't expect something incredible.

I also will include the factory install/manual/docs/etc on a cd, and a copy of the book Tuning Accel DFI 6: Programmable Fuel Injection by Ray T. Bohacz, who wrote the original manual for Accel.

The unit works well, I had it running my 355 efi iroc for 2 years, until I decided to go with a more advanced setup. Even as a flat out beginner tuner, I did pretty well getting some driveability in place, and I was essentially starting from scratch. Many applications do have other tuners' files available online which may require little or no tweaking to have your car running flawlessly from the start.

I will include a collection of tuner files with the sale, and if you let me know your specific application, I'll be glad to recommend a good starting point for you.

I'm looking for $600 shipped (48 states), but will consider offers.

what needs to be done to make it work with a 2-bar map in a boosted application?

if you're starting with a tpi vehicle, the only thing you would need is the map sensor itself. every other sensor is a direct plug in. The map sensor is around a $40 - $50 part from many sources, such as napa or summit or jegs. it's a direct plug and play, and all you need to do is adjust the settings properly in the menus for a 2 bar. every other sensor is the same as the regular tpi setup, save for the oxygen sensor, which is included in the deal.

i actually had it set up last for my supercharged iroc so the tuning file may be a good starting point for you even. although you will likely need to correct for injector sizing, etc.

as a side note, even though the map for a typhoon should be a 2 bar, do not buy from autozone or advance, etc, because they will sell you a one bar. The one pictured, and included with the setup was actually bought as a typhoon part listing, and after having tuning go badly, i tested it and found it was a one bar.
