What color is my car?

Some discussion in the north forums have led to this.. I have yet to find the 'official' name for the color of my car, its either Monterrey Maroon Metallic or Monterrey Maple Metallic. Regardless of that, I say its maroon, matt says its purple, i say its definitely not purple but more red if anything... soooooo which is it? (And if anyone could find the real color too that'd be wonderful.. cz28 says one thing, other sites say different, i have no idea)

It's definitely not purple.....but Barney edition sounds funny so we'll go with that one.

is there a paint code in the door jam? If so it may make your non-purple color search quicker.

It is pretty maroon in the second pic. First pic has a lot of shadows so it looks purple-y sometimes.
