the likelyhood of NJ dropping the front plate is dropping quickly. with mroe and more states, including ours soon, going to camera based traffic and intersection monitoring systems they are going to front plates.
my thought is that it would be easier to have the cops we are already paying too much money too(i live in ewing, and yes i am bitter) to actualy go out and enforce some traffic laws. i know it is a radical concept, but why would a state install video cameras to give speeders tickets when half the cars they are tracking going 10-15 over the limit are on duty officers?

you can pass with no front plate? Well if a cop pulls you over for not having one then you can just say you passed inspection without it! I'm not leaving mine on after the Fiero is painted! i just dont see how you can pass inspection for something that's illegal!

Someone's a little behind on the times.

The facilities will overlook little things like license plate, a bulb out, etc but will say "you passed, but fix it or you can/will get a ticket"

Does that mean they won't need as many cops to enforce traffic laws?
