This is the SECOND time out with this car.... and this run didn't go well.

Per the guy:
I decided to take the firebird to NTR today to see if I got my charge pipe problem fixed. We decided to be conservative being that it would be it's first full pass so we ran wastegate pressure only,"10 lbs springs" the the boost controller at 0. I didn't get a great burnout, it seems that the 2 step is still activating with the line loc. Launched it at 5psi and went tearin down the track. Almost all the way without issue until the belt came offissed: and the msd and fuel pump didn't like that much but it still ran a

We then tried to salvage what was left of the belt and try it again. This time got a better burnout but then as I was getting ready to run, the car in front of me decided to blow up at the end of the track. Waited for about a half hour or so and blew the tires off and headed for the wall so I had to get out of it.

it's cool that they went that quick, but why would you have to back half a car just to make it into the 9's? that is small tire and stock style suspension land easily.

I agree that there was no need to backhalve the car for what their goals are, but still crazy fast. I wonder what that thing sounds like going down track :)

That must have cost a truely rediculous amount of money. Cool as hell, but now what do you do with it? Is there like a class you can run that car?

I think the car is awesome!

Who cares how much $$$$ is into the car.... we ALL have dropped HUGE amountsd oif $$$$ into cars that are WAY slower.... or their cars don't even run!

The car is definately a work of art.

i've seen much slower cars tubbed out, it was the big thing several years ago(10+). More of a look than neccesity.
And why not go all out on this car, its basically the companys car to show what they are capable of, the more of an impression they make, they more a customer will remember them. Hell i bet now youll remember Intense as fast fwd 3800s and now this, even if you never heard of them before today.

and bubba, how can you call that car "hacked"?
