I was cruising back home and stopped at the rt. 537/base access road intersection and there were people F'ING protesting the military.....and on the day of the airshow with thousands of people going in there today. WTF is wrong with people. If there weren't 2 cops in the diner parking lot I would have gotten out. I really F'n hate people like that. If you're not happy with the military then keep it at home to your other cult members instead of polluting my/and everyone's day with your filth.

the brudon of freedom is more than jsut the understanding of the sacrifice those in the military have made and continue to make for us. it is also the understanding that stupidity is legal as is the right to express it.
it is funny that so many people think that anyone is the military is jsut out to kil and fight wars. anyone who pays attention knows that cuoldn't be further from teh truth.

That is just disrespect to the people serving in the Military IMO
and considering the people in the Military are only following orders and have no control where they go
Shouldnt they be protesting in D.C. to the people that actually have the control and give the orders.

at least 15 friends of mine that i go to school with are in the military and are heading back next week, and nothing pisses them off more than protesters! me and my buddy Luke who is in the military saw a few protesters in front of the mall up here the other day and felt like punching them!

gthey just have nothing better to do. I say we should send the protestors over there too and when they see how ppl. are treated over there maybe then they will understand how important our military is.

Its the way it is -- no one who actualy knows what is going on would protest at a time of war -- in another era they would have been shot -- the shame is they just dont get it and they VOTE -- if you dont than think about it -- jz

every president has done good and bad, regardless of what the popular press likes to tell you.
it would also be nice if some of the people who automatically bash the president for going to war would realize that declaring war is an act of congress. in that congress better than 75% of democrats voted to declare war along with the republicans.

for those with a military background, i woudl ask that you remember that the freedom of expression that you defend is there just as much to preotect the statements and legal acts that you don't like as it is to protect the ones you support.

yes but compared to the lasst prez we had, our economics were up, our unemployement was lower, and to be honest, probably the worst thing he did was get some dome from a fat chick i mean come on your the prez, im sure he could of foud something a little better  and the reason y they voted was cause it was the heat of the moment, and they said they had concrete evidence of WMD, now if your pissed and are trying to wipe out a terrorist organization, and you already hada good find of them in the first country we visited, and then hear oh well we know there are ties in irag, there are weapons there, im sure your not going to investigate it too hard, or question the word of the prez atthe moment, now were 4 years into a seemingly endless war, with over 100+ thousand of the best peopel in america over there fighting a phantom enemy, and the prez still goes oh what were doign is good while he sits in the W.H. chilling in a chair? **** him. im not saying im a dem, nor am i a rep, they both have their good and bad points, dems are wimps and dont stand up to take action as to republicans do, but republicans like to carry the bible into the office and believe those pages are what to listen to, nto the voice of the people, liek stem cell research, gay marriage, abortion, and other such things that the american public ask to be looked into, and at least have an excuse of why it hasent been passed without a verse from the old or new testiments, its the 21st century, times have changed. im nto sayign dems would pass those, but at least they would give it some thought. we just need someone in the whote house that can give the public straight answers. if you ever watch debates, they never givea yes or no answer, their answers are to appease both views of what their asked. we will never get a truthful prez, nor any politician in any office, ths why their politicians, and not realpeople with balls like our troops. god bless the troops.

oh and as for the 75% that voted, taht was of the dems, that wasent of the whole house, there were more reps at the time so in any case the dems votes could of cared less.

I'm not going to comment on everything else you said (most of it I agree with to some extent but not fully) but I firmly believe that our last president was not a great man, and a mediocre president because he was strictly in the right place at the right time. A technological revolution (complete with a ton of money flying around) was happening around him that he had little to do with (despite what Al Gore says) and the world wasn't in too much turmoil.

JMO, of course.

either way THEY started with us and now we need to finish it but these damn protestors just make it that much harder. I got an e mail from a buddy who is over there who did get that 3 mnth extention and he says the biggest thing out of all this that pisses him of the most is the damn protestors that he hears about from over here. If you ask me this country has no sense of country pride. Any other country you'll get messe dup for speaking against ur govt. or military. Shpould be the same here, everyone of those protestors have no balls and should just be used as human shields.

every president makes bad and good decisions! i think america lacks industry all the money we make is in services. with the war, i beleive there are more jobs and less unemployment! you have to understand what is going on over there before you go and say lets just leve the war! we are doing good, helping another country better itself! the people that protest are only thinking about themselves . adn bush dosnt sit in his chair all day im sure he is breaking his balls to get **** doen buit nobody respects how hard it is to win a war you cant go into something and be liek this is too hard lets leve! I dont think there is much else to be said

i think a few people realy ned to get past the headlines and read into how the politics of the middle east work. nations mean very little, borders are more of a general idea than something enforced inch by inch, and people of like mind in the leadership of different nations have done a lot to support those who planned and carried out the 9/11 attacks.
if you look at a map and say this guy was from this country and this guy was from this country, you will spend time pointing at every country. that is because the people who hate america are from a wide variety of areas and work with in a system that occupies portions of many individual nations in that part of the world.
there is a huge cultural difference between the western world and the middle east. life, religion, and right vs wrong are all viewed very differently in that part of the world than in the US.
pointing at a country or even an individual leader does nothing to solve the whole problem that potentially puts us in harms way.
we all know war is bad, we al know than any american life lsot is a tragedy, but sometimes you jsut have to accept that there are groups of people in this world that can not be dealt with using political or financial means. you have to go dig them out of whatever hole they are hiding in and eliminate them and the system they are a part of.

I agree with you Tim. But when people say that we need to pull out right now and that we are losing this war just makes me mad. then again I'm so with everyother war we were in it was the same way. You think if just becuase we lost how many troops in WWII it would of been better to pull out? Hells no. It just suckes being this "world super power" that the rest of this world looks at our actions with a microscope but if we were any other country we be doing what we are anyway.

They are misguided and fighting the wrong enemy. Unless their intention is really to hurt the military and not the people who wield it. But anyways, those people piss me off too, and I'm not in the military. Sorry you had to see them.
