Cool, looks like a good deal. Keep the sleeper look. Dog dishes FTW!

There are a couple around here. 1qwikbird in Hamilton has one.

Plan on keeping the sleeper look, keeping the baby moons and white wall tires, adding a 2in cowl hood, bucket seat interipr w/console, and cyberdine gauges in the console. Also plan on adding an LS2 and six speed from an 04 GTO (but thats going to have to wait a while until I get the money for it :-x)

looks like an awesome starting point, cant argue with the price either.

for inspiration, I would look at Kurt Urban's nova

I have a friend who had one of those a while back. Not a bad pick up for only $800.

wont be much of a sleeper if you add the cowl hood. Now the guy who has that twin turbo Nova is a true sleeper. No cowl hood, no paint, and a bench seat lol. Read the article about it not to long ago awesome Nova. You got a great car as a starting point, and you cant beat the price.

its not that big or a cowl only 2in (kinda looks like it could be stock), so it wolnt be too bad

Looks good!

Suprisingly it has no rot holes in the cowl section, and the braces in the inside of the fenders are not rotted, worked on it more today and almost got the front subframe out.

It pretty much is, front sub frame, rear end and other parts are the same as the 67-69 camaros.

That looks like a sweet deal for the cash outlay. I've got a 70 Nova that was the same exact deal 250 six/3spd and now its got the 406 with a tko600 and 4.30's out back. If only I could finish the damn thing. It's been like 8 years. Anyway, my best advice assuming you are doing a restoration of some sort. Keep everything, bag it, tag it and whenever possible go with original parts over repo stuff (bumpers, sheet metal especially). I bought three different repo front bumpers before I found one that fit decent. I bought two sets of the eyebrow trim before i came across two that fit. It really is a test of patience more than anything. If you are going to put the cowl hood on and you go the fiberglass route, Glasstek should be at the top of the list, beautiful fit and finish with minimal prep. If you have any questions about anything nova, just ask.

Thanks I was estatic when the guy said he would sell for that much. Ya I already know what a pain it is when things arnt labeled. Im going steel for the hood and every body panel is going to be goodmark (cuz there the best).
Ill try to post some pictures of the engine and trans set up. Just a small block 400 and m-20 just place holders until I can affort the LS series and 6-speed that I want. Im going to be turning it into a 69.
Thanks, Mike

I cant decide wether or not to go with cragar street stars, or get some custom narrow steelies for the front, and wide steelies for the back so I can keep the baby moon hubcaps

I got a friend who just bought a Glasstek 4" cowl hood for his 69 Firebird and it is stupid nice.....and those hoods are tricky because they come to a point and the proportions and how its blended in look amazing. I'll get some pics this weekend if i can....
